A short, honest description of how Sen & Co. handles personal data — written for an EU audience under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
Sen & Co. is a Belgian-registered consultancy at Meerlaanstraat 8, 9320 Aalst, Belgium. VAT BE1030437928. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at contact@senandco.be or +32 473 13 47 42.
When you submit our contact form, we receive the personal data you choose to provide: your name, email address, optionally the organisation you represent, and the content of your message. Nothing else.
We do not use cookies. We do not run analytics. We do not embed third-party scripts, pixels, or social-media widgets. We do not record your IP address or device fingerprint. We do not track you across other sites. The fonts and icons on this website are self-hosted.
Standard server logs may be kept by our infrastructure provider (Google Cloud) for security and operational purposes. We do not access these logs for marketing or analytics. They are retained according to Google Cloud’s retention policy.
We process the data you submit through the contact form to respond to your enquiry and, if relevant, to follow up on a possible engagement. Our lawful basis under GDPR Article 6(1) is legitimate interest in responding to a person who has chosen to contact us. You may object to this processing at any time (see Section 6).
Contact form submissions are delivered to our business email account hosted by Google Workspace, under Google’s standard Data Processing Amendment that requires GDPR-compliant handling. Data may be stored on Google Workspace infrastructure within the EU and other regions covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
This website itself is currently served from Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Standard server logs (including visitor IP addresses, retained for security and operational purposes) are therefore processed in the US. We are migrating the website to a European Google Cloud region; this notice will be updated when migration is complete.
We retain enquiry messages for up to 24 months from the date of receipt, unless an active engagement begins, in which case retention is governed by the commercial agreement and applicable Belgian law (typically 7 years for accounting records under the Belgian Code of Economic Law).
We do not sell, rent, or disclose your data to third parties for marketing or any other purpose. The only third party that processes contact form data on our behalf is Google, in its capacity as our email and infrastructure provider. We may share data if required by law or by a competent authority.
You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@senandco.be. We will respond within one calendar month.
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
We may update this notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected in a higher-prominence note on the home page for a reasonable period.
